Not much to tell, really. Always had at thing about the Civil War, War Between the States, whatever you want to call it.  Some of my ancestors fought on one side, some on the other, they weren't particular. "Is this a private riot, or may an Irishman join?"

I myself was in the US Navy, fighting for our side.  I did engage a lot of Southern cooking: grits, okra, ham hocks, black eye peas.  But I met it and I et it!

I now live in San Francisco, where I was born, and I eat what's put in front of me.
